The pre-save pass

Wegobuy Spreadsheet Checklist Before Saving a Find

Give the row one point for each question it answers. The score is not a product rating; it is a fast way to expose missing evidence.

Quick answer

Check seven things before saving a Wegobuy find: category fit, useful photos, sizing, comparable price context, shipping weight, clear wording, and a specific reason to keep it. Six or seven points makes a stronger shortlist candidate; a low score means remove it or research it further.

The seven-point checklist

  • The item belongs in the category I am browsing.
  • Photos show the details that matter for this product type.
  • Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed.
  • Price makes sense beside similar finds.
  • Shipping weight does not ruin the value.
  • The row is not just hype or a vague label.
  • I can explain why I would save this find.

Count a point only when the current row or destination actually answers the question. Do not award points for assumptions.

QC photos by category

Quality check photos should answer category-specific questions. More images are not automatically better if they repeat the same unhelpful angle.

Shoes

Side profiles, top view, heels, soles, stitching, size label, and insole measurement when available.

Clothing

Front and back, fabric close-up, seams, collar or cuffs, print or embroidery placement, and garment measurements.

Bags

Front, back, sides, bottom, corners, interior, straps, closures, hardware, and a view that makes scale clear.

Watches and accessories

Dimensions, surface detail, fastening points, included pieces, case or clasp views, and any functional information the category needs.

Electronics

Ports, labels, model or specification information, included parts, plug type, battery wording, and visible condition.

A Wegobuy QC finder or QC photo finder can help locate images, but it cannot decide whether those images answer your particular question.

Good row example and weak row example

Good row example

A hoodie row matches the current destination, shows front and back views, includes chest and length measurements, has enough fabric detail to compare, sits beside similar prices, notes likely weight, and is saved because its evidence is clearer than the alternatives. Score: 7.

Weak row example

A bag row has a catchy label and one small image. There are no dimensions, interior views, source context, or packaging clues. The price is lower than unrelated rows, and the only save reason is popularity. Score: 1.

One-sentence save rule

Keep the row only if you can finish this sentence:

“I am saving this find because it answers these category-specific questions more clearly than the comparable rows, while these remaining details still need checking.”

What to do next

Use the score to choose your next page. If the category is unclear, visit the category guide. If parcel weight is the gap, read the shipping weight guide. If the row feels vague or mismatched, use the buyer safety notes. For direct answers about QC and source terms, open the FAQ.
